Last Friday and Saturday I enjoyed being with the Prattville Piecemakers Guild in Alabama. They were a very sweet, fun group of excellent quilters. We started out on Friday night with supper with a few of the ladies from the Guild. They made me feel right at home. Afterwards, we went to a church where I introduced them to the Fundamental Studio 180 Design tools, and showed quilts I have made with these tools.
Paula Pardue was the Guild’s photographer and she got some great shots which I thought I would share with you. I love how she was able to capture the quilting of those I have finished.

I love everything about quilting. I love the colors, the feel of the fabrics, the piecing, the quilting , and even putting on the binding! I free motion quilt using a Bernina 780, longarm quilt (free motion or ruler work), on a Prodigy , and hand quilt when I get a chance.
I have been teaching quilting since 2004, and became a Certified Studio 180 Design Instructor in 2013. In 2020 I became an Island Batik Ambassador, and an Island Batik Designer in 2021. I teach locally at Bernina Connection, in Tallahassee, and travel to guilds and shops to share my love of quilting through a trunk show or workshops, and I also vend at several Quilt Shows in the area.
