I’m so thrilled to be an Island Batik Ambassador again for 2021! Wait until you see the challenges that are planned for this year. Twice a year, we receive boxes filled with fabric, thread, needles, and batting to use for our projects. Below is a video showing the beautiful supplies I have been sent. After the video, I will show some close up shots so you can get a better look.

Check out my post in February to see what I’m doing with these fabrics – molecules, DNA, formulas; can you see it? These are half yard cuts and two coordinating fabrics of two yards each.

I have to apologize for this Starry Night graphic. I had already opened up my strips and made a project for January. Check it out in my last post. I was also given two yards each of two coordinating fabrics.

Stash Builders are rolls of 5″ x width of fabric: perfect when you’re looking for just a touch of a certain color or for those scrappy quilts.

Are these fabrics not beautiful? I’ll need to come up with something very special for Jewel Quest. These are 10″ squares, with two yards each of two coordinating fabric.

Look at these luscious colors! They will coordinate with the other fabrics I have been given. I am given half yard cuts of each. I think I might have said that wrong in the video – oops.

I love Island Batik’s solids. They are just beautiful and coordinate with any fabric.

The Almond Neutral is a great background fabric that coordinates with the other fabrics I have been given. Six yards is a nice generous amount so I don’t have to worry about the size of my project.

Soft and drapeable, perfect for a blouse, scarf, or dress. I must find a pattern.

Hobbs has such a nice variety of batting. I can always find one that is just right for my project.

I love Schmetz needles. They have so many choices for the many different thread and project needs. I love how they have color coding so I know what I have on my machine.

I will be using this in a project later. Every unit you need for this block is on this die. Just run it through the AccuCutter and your project is all cut out. It will coordinate with the 8″ Cube I was given last year.

Just look at these beautiful color threads that will go with my fabrics. I love that I was given some 40 wt. thread to try. I can’t wait to put it on my longarm.
Be sure to go to the other Island Batik Ambassadors sites to see what they got in their boxes, just click below.

Nice collection! The Starry Night is one of my favorite collections.
